Delivering an unprecedented 93.6 m³/h low-stage displacement at 1450 rpm across 4 low-pressure cylinders and 46.8 m³/h displacement across 2 high-pressure cylinders, this 6-cylinder compound compressor efficiently maintains high volumetric performance during extreme temperature pull-downs down to -50°C.

High-horsepower compression at extreme pressure ratios generates significant thermal load. The 06CC899 features an integrated interstage plate heat exchanger that cools vapor between compression stages while deeply subcooling liquid refrigerant before it enters the expansion valve. This subcooling process eliminates flash gas, increases net cooling effect per kilogram of refrigerant, and effectively suppresses discharge temperatures to protect synthetic lubricants against thermal breakdown.

Built to handle continuous heavy-duty operation, the unit incorporates an expanded 9.0L oil sump and a positive-displacement reversible vane oil pump for instant bearing lubrication during startup. To manage peak power demand on facility electrical networks, the 30HP motor supports Part-Winding (PW) startup, lowering peak locked-rotor inrush from 253 A (XL) to 152 A (PW). Serving as a direct replacement for legacy 06CY899 models, the 06CC899 features 42 mm (1-5/8 in) suction and 35 mm (1-3/8 in) discharge ports, fully compatible with R22, R404A, and R507 refrigerants.
